Cumberland Mall of Vinings, a suburb of Atlanta, has a Mac counter in their Macy's store as well as a newly opened freestanding Mac store. Ladies and gents alike were in formation well before 8 am. Thankfully, the large crowd was well behaved for lip day.

The lipsticks normally retail for $17 and are from the limited edition Color Rocker Collection. The line boldly features 28 vibrant hues like Cold Hard Cash, Evening Buzz, Uncontrollable and Deep With Envy to name a few. There is no catch, just show up! While supplies last of course.

Details on the origins of National Lipstick Day were slim. According to National Day Calendar, "beauty blogger, entrepreneur and International Businesswoman, Huda Kattan was named the modern day founder of National Lipstick Day by a Proclamation from National Day Calendar’s Registrar as of 2016."
