Skyview Ferris Wheel Comes to Atlanta

It's official; Atlanta's 200-ft tall ferris wheel is up and running.

The larger than life structure gives riders a birds eye view of Atlanta. According to onlineathens.com "You can see all over to the Ponce de Leon court, up north to Buckhead. Then off to the west and it gives you a sense of pride in what we all have built as a community," said Mayor Kasim Reed.

The SkyView tops the list of Atlanta's Best First Kiss Locations. The private ride is the perfect place to snuggle up to your date in the climate controlled gondola and plant a juicy first kiss.

The amusement ride is located near Centennial Olympic Park and Tabernacle Atlanta. It's 15 minutes and costs $13.50 for adults, $8.50 for kids 12 an under and children under age 2 ride free.

The ferris wheel will be Sunday thru Friday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with an extra hour at night on Saturdays.
